I finally read the book Evan gave to me for Christmas - Diary of a Teenage Girl: Who I am (Caitlin, book 3) It's a good book alright, close to a great book even. Here's what I've got to say (about the book)...
Basically, it's about a girl, 17 going on 18, and her life, struggles and relationship with God. She even faces things like racial discrimination and so on. What I really like about this book is the honesty of the character. This helps make the book more realistic and sometimes I wonder if the author took the book from someone's diary. Even better is that since it's the diary of a teenage girl, and the honesty shown in the book, I am able to really relate to the girl. If I had a diary, it'd probably be something like that. Simple things like pride and petty jealousy that are mentioned in the book does remind me of myself sometimes, also, I can see that the girl in the story is growing up and growing closer to God. All in all, this book is a must read for all teenage girls. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
I'm looking for the first two books as well as the Chloe series. If you have one of them, please lend it to me!
